Key Responsibilities:
• Build, lead and manage the shared service accounting team across multiple countries in the APAC region
• Ensure compliance with corporate, local and international accounting standards and regulations
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports at each month and annual closing
• Develop and implement SOP across countries
• Collaborate with FP&A team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Partner with other departments to support business objectives and financial goals
• Identify opportunities for process improvements for operational effectiveness and cost efficiencies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of APAC accounting standards and regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in SAP is a must
• Ability to lead and guide teams in remote locations
• Preference go to candidate with APAC shared service center experience
