Responsibilities: Responsible for the husbandry and management of laboratory animals, daily care and operation of animal facility, ensure animal welfare including laboratory animal health check and environmental monitoring. Carry out laboratory animal experiments according to the study plan. Perform experimental procedures include, but not limited to, animal handling, animal restraint, administration of drugs, blood collection, anesthesia, euthanasia and separation of biological samples. Perform all procedures in accordance with GLP regulations and follow related standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the facility. Ensure all raw data generated are recorded accurately and clearly in a timely manner. Work in a team and complete tasks assigned by supervisor. On-the-job training will be provided. The appointee will be required to work on shift on Saturdays and public holidays.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree holder would be an advantage. Experience in laboratory animal husbandry and animal experimental techniques will be an advantage but not essential. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; fluent in Putonghua would be an advantage. Be self-motivated, responsible, empathetic, and curious; excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; an interest in laboratory animal science and technology; and demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development in the field.
