Job Description
<p>To work under the supervision of respective manager(s) of the Information Technology Division with the role of Assistant Manager (IT) for assisting the manager in the effective day-to-day operation of the IT helpdesk and data centre, and supervision of the helpdesk staff. The designated personnel shall support the implementation of IT projects, such as computer and equipment upgrade, and office transformation initiatives.</p><p></p><p>All the proposed designated personnel must meet the following minimum requirements: -</p><p>a) A recognized degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent;</p><p>b) At least 6 years of solid hands-on experience in helpdesk support, meeting room support, VIP support (Director grade or above) and data centre operation of which 2 years must be in similar post and in a comparable capacity with supervisory experience while proficiency in the following would be an advantage:</p><p>· Local Area Network</p><p>· Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Operating System (Windows 11)</p><p>· Microsoft Office 2019/2021/2024/365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)</p><p>· Microsoft Exchange/Outlook</p><p>· Microsoft SharePoint 2019/SE</p><p>· Microsoft 365 Features (Copilot Chat, Forms, OneDrive, Power Apps)</p><p>· Virtual PCs Management & Support</p><p>· Mobile Device Management & Support (iOS and Android)</p><p>· Endpoint Security & Control (user authorization, endpoint protection, endpoint hardening and data protection)</p><p>· Meeting Room Management & Support (internal / external events with multiple parities included video / audio conferencing and guest Wi-Fi)</p><p>· Video Conferencing and Collaboration Tools Support (Zoom and MS Teams)</p><p>· HCL Notes R12</p><p>· Infrastructure Project Management</p><p>· Data centre & IT Service Management</p><p>· Mass deployment E.g. Windows client O/S migration, security patch deployment, etc</p><p></p><p>Professional certification in any of the above areas will be an advantage.</p><p></p><p>c) Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills; and</p><p>d) Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.</p>
