Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the planning and execution of post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) for pressure vessels, pipes and steel structures, ensuring compliance with ASME, API, GB and other relevant standards and regulations.
Operate and maintain heat treatment equipment (such as resistance heaters, induction heating systems, temperature control cabinets, recorders, etc.), ensure that the entire temperature curve is traceable and the data is true and effective.
Prepare and archive PWHT reports, including temperature-time curve graphs, measurement point layout diagrams, equipment calibration records, and non-compliance item handling instructions, in conjunction with third-party inspections and customer reviews.
Collaborate with welding engineers, non-destructive testing personnel and on-site construction team, identify heat treatment risk points (such as local overheating, abnormal residual stresses, material embrittlement, etc.), and propose preventive and improvement suggestions.

Requirements:

Have mechanical engineering, materials science or welding technology, etc. Relevant professional background; those who hold a national recognized heat treatment operation qualification certificate (such as TSG Z6002 or ASME Section IX related certification) are preferred.
At least 2 years of PWHT practical experience in the petrochemical, power, offshore or large-scale equipment manufacturing industry, familiar with the heat treatment characteristics and process window of common materials such as carbon steel, low-alloy steel, and stainless steel.
Proficient in temperature control system operation and temperature measurement technology (such as thermocouple bonding, calibration, compensation wire use), able to independently complete multi-point temperature measurement layout and abnormal data interpretation.
Strong sense of responsibility, attention to details and compliance, good cross-departmental communication and coordination skills and on-site problem-solving ability, and able to adapt to project site travel and short-term on-site needs.
