Cloud Engineer - Regional Role - Financial Services

One of our clients, a global financial institution, is currently expanding their Regional Cloud Infrastructure Team across APAC regions. They are looking to hire a Cloud Engineer for their Hong Kong office.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS cloud architectures and solutions

• Improve the AWS operating model and automate key workflows

• Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud and on‑prem environments

• Lead enterprise workflow migrations to AWS using cloud‑native tools

• Build applications with AWS services and maintain internal documentation

• Support daily cloud operations and manage cloud asset inventory

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or related field

• 3-5+ years of hands‑on AWS development and operations experience

• Knowledge of disaster recovery practices

• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently

• Excellent written and verbal communication in Chinese and English
