Join our dynamic team at New World Chemical Limited as a Petrochem Trader. A successful candidate should be able to hit the ground running and be ready to begin growing their portfolio and sales. They should expect to be involved in trading and shipping; provide commercial input into investment plans; know how to work in both physical and paper markets; able to use sophisticated risk management techniques. Successful traders at NWF are masters at analyzing the market, able to make long lasting relationships with clients and suppliers and maintain great communication with the support teams at NWC.
Roles and responsibilities
• Analyse market conditions and prices for the sale and/or purchase of petrochemical products and request quotes from counterparties.
• Manage and follow-up on logistics, customs agencies with respect to the import and transportation of products.
• Manage individual P & L account for trade commodities
• Focus on trade business, target to expand the suppliers and customers
• Offer reliable feedback and opinions, as well as post-sales support
• Build long-term relationships with suppliers and customers, new and existing
Job requirements
• Proven experience (5 years) related to Oil and Gas, Fuel and trading markets or experience as market analyst/strategist or logistical support will be valued.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Efficient, able to work under pressure, very well organized
