Job Description

Duties:

  • Supplier collaboration: Work closely with regional OEM/ODM suppliers to fully manage new product development (NPD) projects.

  • Product line expansion: Driving the product portfolio from concept ideation to market launch.

  • Technical leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams and provide professional technical guidance.

  • Requirements Management: Define and manage project requirements, including product suitability evaluation.

  • Progress control: Develop project plans, monitor progress and submit regular analysis reports.

  • Mass production support: Responsible for technical and product-related issues in the large-scale production phase.

  • Risk prevention: Actively identify and reduce project risks to ensure delivery quality.

Entry Requirements:

Senior candidate (Experienced)

  • Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering Bachelor's degree or above.

  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing project management and product development.

  • Familiar with OEM/ODM collaboration mode and international work environment.

  • Have strong decision-making ability, solution-oriented thinking and entrepreneurial spirit.

Junior/Potential Candidates (Less Experienced)

  • Science and engineering background or equivalent academic qualifications.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team spirit.

General requirements:

  • English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) fluent, can be used as a working language.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Partnership: Oversee end-to-end product development cycles in collaboration with regional OEM/ODM manufacturing partners.

  • Strategic Growth: Lead the expansion of the product catalog from initial whiteboarding and conceptualization through to successful market entry.

  • Technical Guidance: Act as the primary technical authority for cross-functional project squads.

  • Requirement Scoping: Define technical specifications and conduct rigorous evaluations of product viability and fit.

  • Project Oversight: Design project roadmaps, track milestones, and deliver status reporting to stakeholders.

  • Production Continuity: Address and resolve product-specific technical challenges during the mass manufacturing phase.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively detect potential bottlenecks or project threats and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

For Established Professionals:

  • Academic background in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.

  • 5+ years of demonstrable success in manufacturing-based project management and R&D.

  • Strong history of navigating international supply chains and outsourced (OEM/ODM) business models.

  • A decisive, solution-focused approach with a keen eye for business opportunities.

For Emerging Talent:

  • Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent vocational training.

  • A foundational understanding of—or a passionate interest in—the lifecycle of product development.

  • A desire to advance professionally within a high-speed global corporate structure.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with a team-first attitude.

General Essentials:

  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese).

  • Highly organized with a natural ability to build interpersonal bridges.

  • Prior exposure to power tools or garden equipment sectors is an advantage.
