Public Relations Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute the company's overall public relations strategy in the Hong Kong market, including media relationship building, news release writing and distribution, crisis public relations response, and brand image maintenance.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining long-term and stable communication channels with Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government departments, Legislative Council members' offices, policy think tanks and industry associations, etc. stakeholders, promote policy advocacy and compliance coordination.
- Plan and lead localized public relations activities such as press conferences, community forums, sponsorship projects, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to enhance the company's public awareness and trust in Hong Kong.
- Monitor Hong Kong mainstream media, social platforms and public opinion dynamics, regularly submit media analysis reports and public opinion risk assessments, and provide real-time and insightful public relations advice to senior decision-makers.
- Cross-departmental collaboration, supporting market marketing, legal and business units in government application, public declaration, compliance promotion, etc. Public relations review and content screening in various stages.
Work requirements
- Have more than 5 years of experience in Hong Kong public relations or government affairs, familiar with the local media ecosystem, political structure and public policy operation process, and those with a multinational corporation or listed group background are preferred.
- Holding a bachelor's degree or above in communication, public administration, political science or related fields; those with professional qualifications (such as CIPR, PRCA or Hong Kong Public Relations Association certification) are especially recommended.
- Fluent in Cantonese, able to communicate at a high level in writing and speaking in English and Mandarin; with excellent writing skills, I can independently write Chinese and English news releases, presentation files and policy response materials.
- Have acute political sensitivity and crisis management awareness, be able to maintain professional judgment in complex and sensitive situations, quickly coordinate resources and propose feasible solutions.
