Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts in a timely manner to ensure up-to-date account balances.
- Generate and send invoices to clients according to agreed-upon terms and follow up on overdue accounts to secure prompt payment.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and payment arrangement.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to ensure accurate documentation and smooth handling of credit and collections issues.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections functions, preferably within a corporate or mid-sized business environment.
