Company Overview
Buddhist Yip Kei Nam Memorial College (English: Buddhist Yip Kei Nam Memorial College, commonly known as Yip Kei Nam, YKN) is a government-funded grammar school in Hong Kong located in Qingyi. Established in September 1978, it was the first secondary school in Qingyi and also the first middle school built by the Hong Kong Housing Authority. The school facilities include 30 standard classrooms, a hall, and 22 special rooms. The school name commemorates Mr. Ye Jiannan, the father of Macau gambling tycoon Ye Han, who donated HK$1 million to support the establishment and development of the school. Upholding the educational philosophy of the Hong Kong Buddhist Federation, the school's motto is 'Wisdom Manifests Compassion', aiming at cultivating students' moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic aspects, with a particular emphasis on English teaching and Buddhist education. Offering comprehensive secondary education from Form One to Six, the school is open to both boys and girls, characterized by its diverse and inclusive approach, providing extensive learning and growth opportunities for students.
