Key Responsibilities
• Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and speed
• Create and develop innovative dishes inspired by Hong Kong classics
• Design seasonal menus and daily specials with strong presentation and balance
• Oversee food costing, portion control, and inventory management
• Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve high standards
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in full compliance with HK regulations
• Collaborate closely with the founder and management team to shape culinary direction
• Source ingredients and suppliers with focus on quality and efficiency

Requirements
• 3–6 years of kitchen experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or sous chef role
• Strong understanding of local Hong Kong flavors and modern cooking techniques
• Hands-on, creative, and willing to experiment with flavor and presentation
• Strong organizational and leadership skills — able to manage a small, high-performing team
• Familiar with food cost control, kitchen workflow, and supplier management
• Team-player attitude — open, respectful, and driven to grow
• Fluent in English or Cantonese (both preferred)
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience
