Job Title: Elementary School English Instructor

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for English teaching at the primary school stage, and fully cultivate students’ four core language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing;

• Tighten the local curriculum (such as the Primary School English Curriculum Guide) and students’ actual learning progress, design and write appropriate classroom teaching plans, diversified learning activities, school-based exercises and formative and summative evaluation tools;

• Through classroom observation, learning diagnosis and data analysis, identify student learning differences, provide targeted individualized teaching support, and promote effective progress for students of different ability levels;

• Participate in daily administrative support work, including curriculum coordination, student attendance records, learning file organization, school-family communication data integration and basic word processing;

Requirements:

• Holding a recognized university degree; those with education-related qualifications are preferred, such as a Bachelor's degree in Education (BEd), a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), a TEFL/TESOL certificate or equivalent qualifications;

• Have a solid understanding of the scope of primary school English courses, be familiar with local commonly used teaching materials (such as New Century, Oxford Reading Tree, Let’s Go, etc.) and evaluation modes (including in-school evaluation, all-hong Kong system evaluation TSA/BCA spirit);

• Fluent in Cantonese and English, able to clearly communicate teaching content and learning requirements in both languages; Mandarin has basic communication skills;

• Hard-working and down-to-earth, strong sense of responsibility, and self-learning awareness and continuous reflection and improvement;

• The academic requirement is an associate degree or higher; relevant work experience of less than one year is also acceptable;

• Must meet the requirements for legal employment in Hong Kong and be eligible for the following categories: Hong Kong permanent resident, Top Talent Pass (TTPS), Quality Migrant Admission Scheme (QMAS), Non-local Graduates Hong Kong/Return Employment Arrangement (IANG), Dependent visa, or other valid work permit.

Benefits:

• Monthly salary range: HKD$18,000 – $25,000 (depending on qualifications and experience);

• Full-time employment, working 5 days per week (including Saturday);

• Working location: 1 Yuen Wo Road, Tseung Kwan O, New Town Center Phase 1.
