Responsible for the regular inspection, preventive maintenance, and fault repair of various fire and safety equipment (including fire extinguishing systems, detectors, emergency escape devices, gas detection instruments, etc.) on ocean-going ships and yachts.
Board the ship during its stop in Hong Kong waters or port to provide on-site technical support, ensuring that all fire-fighting facilities meet the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the SOLAS Convention and the local maritime authority.
Follow the work instructions of the on-duty maintenance supervisor, record the maintenance process, replacement parts list and test results, and submit a complete technical report.
Assist in conducting fire equipment functional tests to ensure that the entire fire safety system is in immediate use status.
Requirements:
Have at least 2 years of engineering-related work experience (such as mechanical and electrical maintenance, ship equipment maintenance, industrial fire protection system installation, etc.), those with maritime or shipyard background are given priority.
Fluent Cantonese, able to accurately read Chinese technical documents, operation manuals and safety instructions; basic English reading and writing ability, able to understand common English signs and equipment information.
Have a good sense of responsibility and team spirit.
Benefits:
Monthly salary range is HKD$20,000 to $22,500 (average monthly salary is about HKD$23,500-26,000)
Complimentary for overtime work
Commissions: approximately equivalent to one month's salary, paid based on the company's annual operating performance and departmental achievement of targets.
Incentive: about equivalent to one month's salary, based on personal work performance and attendance record evaluation and payment.
