Job Description
Job Responsibilities:- Manage the full cycle of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting for the holding company and its related business units.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including consolidated financial statements, for management and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
- Handle compliance with audit, tax, and statutory requirements, as well as corporate policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial audits.
- Oversee and streamline HR processes, including employee onboarding, leave management, and benefits administration.
- Calculate employee monthly payroll and manage salary and MPF administration.
- Manage employee leave arrangements, including annual leave and sick leave.
- Coordinate visa and work permit applications for non-local staff
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as directed by senior management.
- Assist with office administration tasks and support the broader team as required.
Job Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in hands-on full sets of accounts and experience in medium size law firm is an advantage. Candidates with less experience may be considered Assistant Accounting Manager.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations in Hong Kong.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Energetic, self-motivated, independent, responsible, well-organized, and hard-working, with good interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proactive mindset focused on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Immediately available is highly preferable.
