Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive management of medical device R&D projects, from initiation and design to development, testing, and market launch. Ensure projects meet predetermined timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.

  • Conduct in-depth research on market dynamics, industry trends, and relevant regulations in Hong Kong and overseas. Develop long-term strategies and annual operating plans for the Hong Kong subsidiary, aligning with the overall strategic direction of the parent company.

  • Encourage and promote technological innovation within the team, actively exploring new technologies and methods in medical device R&D to enhance product technology and competitiveness.

  • Coordinate collaboration between the R&D team and other departments (e.g., marketing, production, quality, sales), promptly addressing cross-departmental issues that arise during projects.

  • Establish and improve the quality management system for medical device R&D, ensuring compliance with national and international quality management standards and regulations, such as ISO 13485 for medical device quality management systems.

  • Assume full responsibility for the daily operations management of the Hong Kong subsidiary, coordinating inter-departmental relationships, optimizing internal workflows, improving operational efficiency, and reducing operational costs.

  • Gain a deep understanding of the Hong Kong and overseas markets, identify potential business opportunities, develop and implement effective market expansion strategies, and enhance the subsidiary's market share and brand awareness in Hong Kong.

  • Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Top Management, proactively responding to the parent company's work arrangements and closely cooperating with the parent company in carrying out various tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Medical Devices, Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, or related fields preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience, having held senior management positions such as Deputy General Manager or Department Director, or experience working in large medical device companies or multinational corporations preferred.

  • Excellent team management skills, adept at selecting, training, and retaining talent, rationally allocating work tasks based on team members' professional skills and expertise, and building a highly collaborative team.

  • Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities, able to develop forward-looking and feasible company development strategies based on in-depth analysis of the market environment, industry trends, and company resources.

  • Possess outstanding data analysis skills, capable of using data analysis tools to conduct in-depth analysis of market data, sales data, financial data, etc.

  • Familiar with medical device regulations and policies, with a thorough understanding of medical device regulations, quality standards, and registration processes in Hong Kong and major international markets (e.g., EU, USA).

  • Proficient in English and Cantonese, able to communicate fluently with international clients and partners in English to conduct international business cooperation and participate in international industry conferences. Proficiency in Cantonese is preferred.
