Java Developer

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop cutting-edge fintech systems and enhance existing IT systems; actively participate in the company’s latest fintech initiatives.

2. Lead team development throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure successful project delivery.

3. Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and within budget.

4. Assist in collecting and documenting user requirements, developing user insights, evaluations, and work plans.

5. Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on software status, operations, and maintenance; design, develop, and perform unit testing for applications in accordance with established standards.

6. Participate in solution design and peer code reviews; analyze and resolve technical and application issues.

7. Package and support version deployment; develop, optimize, and adjust integrations between applications.

8. Explore new technologies and drive innovation, especially new development tools and algorithms, to deliver better solutions for the existing environment.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field; at least 3 years of application development experience.

2. Proficiency in Java development; in-depth knowledge and experience with core technologies including Java and Spring.

3. Experience in debugging, performance analysis, and optimization; solid understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories.

4. Testing experience is a plus (not mandatory).

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
