Overseas QA and Operations Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for system testing and operations support for EU projects to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Develop and execute test plans, covering functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, etc. various test types.
• Write detailed test cases, accurately record test results, submit defect reports, and track problem resolution progress throughout the process.
• Cooperate with the European team to complete compliance testing and related document output that meet EU standards.
• Monitor system running status, respond and handle online failures in a timely manner, and ensure system stable operation.
• Assist the European team in deploying, upgrading and performing daily maintenance operations on the system.
• Maintain close collaboration with Shanghai, Wuhu and European teams to push the project forward smoothly.
• Use English to communicate with European teams on a daily basis, technical discussions and conference exchanges.
• According to project requirements, travel to EU countries regularly or irregularly to provide on-site technical support.

Work requirements

• Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan residents, holding valid identity documents, can legally work long-term in mainland China. They can also travel visa-free to multiple EU countries for short-term assignments, participating in on-site testing and maintenance work.
• Have good Chinese expression skills, fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, and able to handle a fully English work environment.
• Bachelor's degree or above, computer science, electronic engineering or related fields are preferred.
• At least 2 years of software testing or IT operations-related work experience, familiar with standard testing processes and common tools (such as JIRA, Selenium, etc.)
• Proficient in Linux operating system and common commands, with basic script writing ability (such as Shell or Python).
• Understand database technology, including SQL and NoSQL, with basic network knowledge.
• Applicants with experience in participating in EU projects or internationalization projects are preferred.
• Have strong learning ability, logical thinking ability and problem-solving ability.
• Able to adapt to cross-time zone collaboration, with a sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and meticulousness in work.
• Can be based in Shanghai or Wuhu, and be able to accept business trips to EU countries due to project needs.
