Job Summary
The Professional Engagement Manager, Asia is a critical role in the Asia Regional Professional Veterinary Affairs team, ensuring locally relevant and impactful omni-education and engagement programs across Asia. This role will work in close collaboration with Global PVA, Asia Region PVA, and country PVA team members to build robust plans & strong execution, aligned with Brand Growth Plans, to elevate the professional reputation of Hill’s across Asia. This role is accountable for improving the reach, alignment and quality of Hill’s omni-educational programs by leading Digital Education, Congresses, and target segment programs (nurses, recent graduates). Each of these touchpoints should be optimized across the region, ensuring maximum brand consistency and minimum administrative duplication between countries. By providing high quality, comprehensive regional blueprints and guidance, in alignment with the Asia region commercial strategy, Hill’s scientific leadership and product superiority will reach as many veterinary healthcare team members as possible and drive BRUT.
Task
50% Congresses & Events:
Build a region-wide strategy and oversee execution for regional and country-level major congresses and educational summits.
Ensure that these customer-facing engagements serve as high-impact acquisition channels rather than just events.
Oversee the integration of brand messaging with logistical excellence, as well as collection and use of 1P data to drive Hill’s education and recommendations.
Direct the planning and execution of major Asia region symposiums, including the Hill’s Asia Symposium, a flagship educational forum.
Bridge the gap between global scientific standards and local market needs to deliver world-class professional experiences that builds Hill’s credibility.
25% Digital Education Management:
Act as the regional lead for digital education on both Hill’s and non-Hill’s platforms to deliver value added, high-quality continuing education for veterinarians and nurses.
Aligned with the global strategy and localizing for regional relevance, ensure clinical relevance and accuracy in Hill’s Asia education offerings.
In collaboration with Asia region marketing, support alignment and oversight of professional social media which positions Hill’s as the thought leader for the Asian veterinary community.
Works with SMEs in Asia and across the organization to ensure content that is deployed has high scientific rigor and accuracy. Develop plans for driving engagement with Hill’s Veterinary Academy content that leads to active recommendation, use and trust.
Evaluate the Hill’s Asia professional ecosystem in collaboration with CD and marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Determine appropriate local KPIs to drive accountability and reach, in addition to global digital education KPIs.
20% Strategic Customer Segment Passionate Advocate Development:
Design and launch, in collaboration with country PVA teams, Asia-wide programs targeting Veterinary Nurses and Recent Graduates.
Vet nurse programs will be designed to engage nurses in nutrition conversations and build advocacy with this critical group of veterinary healthcare team members.
5% Stakeholder Alignment and KPIs:
Serve as the regional consultant to local country managers on professional engagement and omni-education.
Ensure that professional engagement activities are measurable, scalable, and directly aligned with regional commercial KPIs.
Track KPIs across Asia for professional engagement and omni-education.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Education/ Experience
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent graduate degree in veterinary medicine
Minimum of 2 years of experience in small animal veterinary practice and
Past experience in Pet food/Diagnostics/Pharma Business preferred
Past experience in Hill’s/Pet food Business will be preferred
Strong analytical skills and experience in leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
