Tai Wo House Estate Night Watchman

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for 12-hour overnight security work in the Ta He House Estate, carrying out hourly patrol tasks at designated points, covering residential buildings, car parks, public corridors and surrounding areas, ensuring the safety of facilities and normal order.

• At the security control room or lobby position (head), on duty, closely monitoring closed-circuit television images and entry and exit records, and responding immediately to any sudden situations and reporting to the supervisor.

• Strictly enforce visitor registration, verify identity documents, contact residents to confirm the purpose of the visit, and record the time and reason of entry and exit to ensure resident privacy and community safety.

• Regularly inspect fire equipment, emergency exits, lighting systems and security equipment for their operational status, and report any abnormalities immediately by submitting a maintenance application and following up on its progress.

Work requirements

• Have 1 to 3 years of local housing estate or residential property night shift security work experience, familiar with the public housing estate operation mode and common safety risks.

• Education must reach secondary school diploma or above (primary school degree above is the minimum threshold, but actual employment is based on secondary school diploma as the basic standard).

• Able to communicate fluently in Cantonese, with basic Mandarin listening and expression abilities, and able to clearly record and narrate the events.

• Only Hong Kong permanent residents are accepted, and they must be able to adapt to the night shift system (19:00–07:00), working 6 days a week and 12 hours a day, with good physical fitness and sense of responsibility.
