Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Follow medical instructions accurately to administer medication, injections, wound care, intravenous fluids, catheter management, and other clinical procedures, and strictly adhere to infection control and medication safety guidelines.
Provide health education and psychological support, help patients and their families understand disease knowledge, treatment plans and self-care skills after discharge, promote recovery and health promotion.
Completely record nursing documents, including nursing records, medication records, handover reports, etc., to ensure that the information is accurate, timely, and compliant with local medical regulations and institutional quality standards.

Work requirements

Holding a valid registered nurse (RN) qualification issued by the Hong Kong Nursing Council, and maintaining a good registration status with no disciplinary punishment record.
Have at least one year of practical nursing experience in hospitals, private clinics, nursing homes or community health centers, familiar with adult/elderly/specialist (depending on the actual position setting) nursing processes.
Have good clinical judgment, crisis management skills and interprofessional communication and collaboration skills, and be able to remain calm and make appropriate decisions in a high-pressure environment.
Proficient in Cantonese and English, able to fluently use the two languages for oral communication and written records; those with basic Mandarin skills will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
