Chinese restaurant food server

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for customer seating, ordering, serving, changing plates, and billing for the entire dining process, ensuring a smooth service flow and meeting the operating standards of a Chinese restaurant.
Familiar with menu content, including food sources, cooking methods and flavor characteristics, and able to actively provide professional advice and appropriate recommendations to customers.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar team to communicate and coordinate, accurately convey customer special needs (such as allergens, dietary restrictions, rush orders), and ensure product quality and service consistency.
Pay attention to customer emotions and on-site dynamics, proactively discover potential problems and handle them in a timely manner, and report abnormal situations to your supervisor if necessary, in order to maintain the restaurant's image and customer satisfaction.

Work requirements

Year 18, no specific academic requirements, basic Chinese reading and writing abilities, clear oral expression; understanding Cantonese is a must, those with basic English or Mandarin communication skills are preferred.
Have at least six months of front-line dining service experience, familiar with the operation mode of Chinese-style banquet halls or high-end Chinese restaurants, those who are familiar with it are preferred.
Personal appearance is clean and attitude is polite, with good service awareness and stress resistance ability, and able to adapt to the shift schedule of lunch, dinner and holiday peak hours.
