Engineering Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in planning and executing daily engineering projects, including data organization, drawing drafting, and site investigation.
• Responsible for the establishment and management of engineering files, including construction logs, progress reports, change orders, and other technical documents. This includes archiving and updating them.
• Coordinate communication between the construction site, suppliers and contractors to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time and meet the required specifications.
• Follow up on project progress, regularly inspect the site, record construction activities and report any abnormalities or delays to the supervisor.
• Support safety management work, assist in checking whether on-site safety measures are in place, and participate in safety meetings and training activities.

Work requirements

• Applicants with a college degree or above, majoring in civil engineering, architecture, mechanical and electrical engineering or related fields are preferred.
• Have basic AutoCAD or other engineering drawing software operation skills, be able to independently draw simple plans or modify drawings.
• Have a basic understanding of construction site operations, be willing to work in indoor and outdoor environments, and be able to adapt to the needs of construction site inspections.
• Have good communication skills and team spirit, and be able to effectively coordinate with different departments and external units.
• Good reading and writing skills in Chinese and English, able to understand technical documents and write basic reports, those who understand Cantonese are preferred.
