Execute Windows/Linux operating system deployment, basic performance tuning and security baseline settings; Collaborate with application vendors to complete environment preparation work required for middleware software or databases.
Closely cooperate with network engineers to complete system-side network settings (including network card binding, VLAN partitioning, multipath configuration, etc.), ensure platform and overall network environment Interconnection without obstacles.
Write system implementation reports, hardware and software configuration lists, and commissioning documents, etc. delivery documents to ensure that all deliverables are complete, accurate, and traceable.
Report system side implementation progress, configuration results and technical issue handling status to Hong Kong customers in Cantonese, with on-site communication and cross-team coordination skills.
Have 1 to 3 years of system integration or IT infrastructure project implementation experience, having led or deeply participated in at least 3 above-mentioned end-to-end delivery projects covering servers + storage + virtualization, familiar with basic data center engineering processes (including rack installation, power / cooling planning, cable management, etc.).
Familiar with mainstream brand product actual configuration and debugging, you must at least be proficient in the following 2-3 brand combinations:
-Server: Huawei (FusionServer), Inspur, H3C UniServer, Sugon, Lenovo, ZTE; or Dell EMC (PowerEdge), HPE (ProLiant), IBM (Power Systems), Cisco (UCS).
- Storage devices: Huawei (OceanStor), Inspur (AS/HF series), H3C (H3C Storage), SGI (ParaStor), Maxsan (MacroSAN), ZTE (KS series); or Dell EMC (PowerStore/Unity/SC), NetApp (AFF/FAS), HPE (Alletra/3PAR), Pure Storage, IBM (FlashSystem).
-Virtualization / cloud platform: Huawei (FusionSphere), H3C (CAS/UIS), Shenzhen Xinsu (aCloud); or VMware (vSphere/vSAN), Microsoft (Hyper-V/Azure Stack HCI), Citrix (XenServer/XCP-ng), Red Hat (OpenStack/RHV), Nutanix (AHV).
-Operating system: Kylin, UOS, openEuler; or Windows Server, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu Server, SUSE Linux.
Have solid hardware integration skills: able to independently complete server out-of-band management (iLO/iDRAC/IPMI), RAID configuration, firmware upgrades; familiar with storage RAID array setup, LUN mapping, Brocade/Cisco fiber switch basic settings.
Proficient in the installation and tuning of mainstream operating systems, with practical experience in network configuration, disk partitioning, patch management, and security hardening (such as firewall policies, account permission control, and log auditing)
Have on-site hands-on ability: able to adapt to the server room environment, independently complete device rack installation, fiber optic cable connection, management port setting, etc. operations; accept short-term business trips or on-site implementation, and do not reject lightweight equipment handling (such as standard 2U servers).
Have a high level of service awareness, and demonstrate professionalism, patience, and responsibility when collaborating with customers or third-party vendors on site; have strong learning abilities, and be able to quickly master the deployment process of domesticated (Sinicization) equipment or emerging virtualization technologies.
Monthly salary range: HKD $23,000 – $26,000 (depending on experience and ability)
