Technical Support Officer (Applications & System)

<p><strong>Project Nature:</strong></p><p>Application system support on system implementation, system maintenance and support.</p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>Carry out application system support activities including system testing, software deployment, system implementation, system maintenance and support tasks;</p><p>Provide help desk service, interact with users on system matters, seek assistance from respective technical teams and contractor on operational and system issues;</p><p>Provide <strong>application and technical support to users</strong>;</p><p>Prepare related system documentations, e.g. reports on application system support activities;</p><p>Participate in various types of testing, e.g. <strong>system integration test, user acceptance test, system load test, performance test</strong>;</p><p>Assist in preparing testing cases for system testing;</p><p>Assist users in handling their ad hoc requests;</p><p>Assist in user co-ordination, e.g. collaboration of user comment, suggestion;</p><p>Provide on-call support for urgent production system incidents during non-office hours; and</p><p>Undertake any other duties assigned by supervisors. </p><p><strong>Requirement Details:</strong></p><p>Diploma (or above) holder in Information Technology (IT) related discipline;</p><p>Solid experience in application system support and good knowledge on PC;</p><p>Possess good customer service, inter-personal, analytical and problem solving skills;</p><p>Good command of <strong>spoken and written English and Chinese</strong>;</p><p>Good communication and presentation skills; and</p><p>Good working attitude and ability to work independently and under pressure.</p>
