Strictly follow the drug management process: verify the prescription, drug name, dosage, time and object, assist or supervise the hospital friend to take medicine on time; properly record the medication situation, and regularly sort out the medication list and expiration date to ensure medication safety.
Have basic first aid skills, and in the event of sudden fainting, breathing difficulties, falls and injuries to fellow residents, immediately implement appropriate first aid measures (such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bleeding control, maintaining respiratory tract patency, etc.), and simultaneously contact rescue services and notify the supervisor, and follow up the whole process until referral is completed.
Collaborative nursing team develops individualized health care plans, proposes practical advice on chronic disease management, nutritional support, and activity ability promotion, and guides daily caregivers to correctly execute daily care skills (such as body position transfer, oral cleaning, and pressure ulcer prevention).
Participate in hospital-based health education activities, briefly explain health education knowledge (such as diabetes dietary attention, hypertension lifestyle adjustment) to hospital friends and caregivers, and enhance overall health awareness and self-management ability.
Work requirements
Must hold a certificate recognized by the Social Welfare Department as a "health care worker", and the certificate must be valid; those with at least one year of experience in a nursing home or a care home are preferred.
Have good communication skills and empathy, be patient and clearly hand over information and collaborate with the elderly, families and interdisciplinary teams (nurses, social workers, physical therapists, etc.)
Pay attention to details and sense of responsibility, be able to strictly abide by medical confidentiality principles, accurately fill in various health record forms, drug records and event reports, and ensure that the documents are compliant and complete.
Healthy body, able to withstand standing, bending, moving and assisting equipment, and occasionally support sudden overtime needs.
