Senior Systems Engineer / Systems Engineer

<p><strong>About the role</strong><br>Amidas Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer or System Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure solutions to support the company's business objectives. The role is based in our Lai Chi Kok office in the Sham Shui Po District.</p><p></p><p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure network architectures</li><li>Configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls</li><li>Performing system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure optimal network performance</li><li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network-related issues</li><li>Providing technical support and guidance to end-users</li><li>Documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures</li><li>Staying up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices</li><li>Participate in project rollout, system integration, data migration, and technical troubleshooting</li><li>Collaborate with customers, technology vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions</li><li>Support post-implementation tasks including system tuning, maintenance, and upgrade planning</li><li>Create high-quality technical documentation and operational handover materials</li></ul><p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field</li><li>2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industry</li><li>Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures</li><li>Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and best practices</li><li>Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices from leading vendors</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Certifications in networking, and experience in cybersecurity and cloud technology are a plus</li></ul><p><strong>The ideal people:</strong></p><ul><li>Pro-active and strong motivation for picking up latest technology trends</li><li>Excellent teamwork and communication skills</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive can-do attitude</li><li>Must be willing to work during non-office hour per project requirement</li><li>Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese</li></ul>
