Investment Analyst

A foreign-based family office in Hong Kong investing globally in a multi- asset class portfoliois looking for a high-calibre Investment Analyst, conducting research on an investment management portfolio across major asset classes involving money market and cash management products, fixed income, equities, and alternatives such as direct investments and private equities. Reporting to the Executive Director, theincumbent will assist in managing the total portfolio of the family office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chairperson in personal wealth management and investment (PE/equities/fixed income etc.) portfolio management

• Conduct fundamental research that leads to differentiated insights about companies and industries under coverage

• Ableto identify mispricing and valuation discrepancies, make investment recommendations and communicate his/her findings to top management

• Exhibit a fundamental, research oriented, bottom-up approach, supported by a strong investment philosophy and process, and be able to implement ideas through an analytical framework
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines, demonstrating a strong academic background and numeric sense

• Professional qualifications, such as CFA, CPA, etc. preferred

• 3-5years of equity research experience gained from sell side or buy side

• Keen insight into financial markets and investment fields

• Financial modeling capability, accounting knowledge, the ability to analyze balance sheets and cash flow statements will be a benefit

• Proficiency in Bloomberg, MS EXCEL (VBA a plus) and MS PowerPoint

• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in Englishis a MUST
