Job Description
Completely responsible for the company's information technology strategy, system architecture, network security and daily operations and maintenance, ensure the system runs stably, securely and efficiently, and meets the technology and network security compliance requirements of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and relevant regulations.
Main responsibilities
1. Technical strategy and architecture management:
o Develop and implement the company's IT strategy and technical roadmap, with a focus on ensuring system reliability, security, and performance optimization to support business development.
o Manage outsourcing teams to complete the design and continuous improvement of the financial core system.
2. System operations and infrastructure management:
o Comprehensive responsibility for the management, monitoring and optimization of the company's local cloud environment.
o Deep management of the Linux server operating system to ensure its high performance, security and stable operation.
o Responsible for the planning, deployment, maintenance, performance tuning, and data security of MySQL and other databases.
3. Cybersecurity and compliance:
o Establish and maintain a comprehensive network security system, especially for local cloud environments by formulating protection strategies.
o Ensure that all IT systems and operations fully comply with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and other relevant regulatory requirements.
o Lead the response to regulatory inspections, internal and external audits, and network security audits, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of compliance reports.
4. Team management and technical leadership:
o Lead the IT team, enhance the team's professional skills in Linux system management, database operations and maintenance, etc.
o Establish team goals and performance evaluation.
5. Supplier and budget management:
o Manage and coordinate with hardware, software and technical service suppliers.
6. Risk Management and Business Continuity:
o Design IT risk management system and emergency response plan to ensure the continuity of core payment business. Job Requirements
1. Education and experience:
o Bachelor's degree or above, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
o At least 5 years of IT management and practical experience, of which at least 3 years must be in financial technology, payment or banking, and with experience in responsible for core system operations and maintenance management.
o Applicants with work experience in Hong Kong's financial licensed institutions, particularly in the payment sector, will be given priority.
2. Core technical capabilities:
o Proficient in the management, security hardening, and performance optimization of Linux operating systems (such as RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
o Proficient in MySQL database architecture design, SQL optimization, high availability solutions (such as master-slave replication) and backup and recovery.
o Familiar with the basic configuration and principles of common firewalls (Palo, Fortinet, Huawei).
3. Compliance and risk management:
o Deep understanding of Hong Kong's financial regulatory requirements, especially those related to technology risk management (TM-E-1, SA-2) and payment systems.
4. Leadership and communication:
o Excellent team leadership, project management, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
o Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate technical solutions and compliance to management, business units and regulatory agencies.
