Full-Time Teacher (English & Mathematics)

Job Responsibilities

• Design and teach lively and effective English courses based on students’ different English levels, covering the full range of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills

• Provide preparation guidance for international and local standardized exams (such as IELTS, HKDSE English) to help students achieve their target scores

• Design teaching materials and classroom activities, stimulate students’ learning interest, and enhance language application skills

• Teach from basic arithmetic to advanced mathematical concepts, ensuring students master core knowledge and problem-solving skills

• Provide systematic training for the HKDSE Mathematics subject, helping students to prepare for the public exam challenge

• Regularly evaluate students’ learning progress, analyze performance data, and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement

• Prepare teaching plans as needed and accurately record teaching progress and student performance

• Adjust teaching strategies according to students’ individual differences, and take care of diverse learning needs

Work requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, English, mathematics or related fields

• Preference will be given to those with valid teaching qualifications or teaching licenses

• Have good English skills and be able to give English lessons and communicate fluently

• Having solid mathematical knowledge and excellent problem-solving and analysis skills

• At least two years of teaching experience, those who have taught in Hong Kong or a similar education system are preferred

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal interaction ability

• Familiarity with HKDSE course content and exam requirements will be given priority

• Preference will be given to those with a master's degree (education or related sciences)

• Applicants with teaching experience at international schools or tutoring centers are preferred

• Preference will be given to those with TESOL, CELTA or mathematics education related certifications

• A knowledge of Cantonese is a plus, but not a mandatory requirement
