Responsible for the technical solution design of enterprise storage products (e.g. OceanStor distributed storage, all-flash, hybrid flash, backup disaster recovery solution, etc.) to meet customer's needs in terms of performance, reliability and scalability.
In-depth understanding of business scenarios of customers in finance, government, operators, energy and other industries, and transforming customer needs into technical solutions.
Provide solutions that integrate storage with cloud computing (e.g. Huawei Cloud), big data, AI and other technologies (e.g. storage-computing separation, data lake architecture).
Track storage technology trends (e.g. NVMe-oF, SCM, data reduction algorithms, multi-protocol compatibility) and optimize product performance and functionality. Write technical whitepapers, case studies and best practices to enhance solution market impact.
Jointly develop industry solutions with partners (ISVs, cloud service providers, hardware vendors).
Provide technical training and empowerment to internal and external teams (sales, customers, partners).
Requirements
Bachelor Degree or above, major in Telecommunication, Information Systems Management, Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines
5+ years of technical experience in storage field, with experience in designing or delivering large-scale enterprise-class storage projects.
Proficient in storage core technologies: SAN/NAS, distributed storage architecture, data protection (snapshot, replication, CDP), disaster recovery (dual-living, dual-location and triple-center).
Familiar with product features and competitive analysis of mainstream storage vendors (e.g. Dell EMC, NetApp, Hitachi).
Understanding of cloud computing (OpenStack/Kubernetes), database (Oracle/MySQL), virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and storage integration solutions.
