Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily kitchen work in the restaurant, including ingredient preparation, cooking, plating and output control, ensuring that the dishes meet the same quality and standards.
• Strictly follow food safety and sanitation standards, keep the work area, equipment and utensils clean and disinfected, and cooperate with regular sanitation inspections.
• Follow the kitchen supervisor's instructions to execute daily menus, adjust portion sizes and processes in response to peak business and special needs.
• Collaborate closely with front-of-house and other kitchen colleagues to maintain a high-efficiency operating rhythm, support sudden tasks or temporary event meal arrangements.

Work requirements

• Have at least 1 year of Chinese or related cuisine kitchen practical experience, familiar with basic knife skills, heat control, and common cooking techniques. Candidates with such experience are preferred.
• Able to adapt to a high-stress, fast-paced work environment, with good physical strength and endurance, able to stand for long periods of time and perform heavy-duty operations.
• Have basic Cantonese communication skills, be able to understand simple oral instructions; understanding Mandarin or English is an added bonus.
