Sandwich Artist

Job Summary:

The Sandwich Artist is responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and food items, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and consistency to meet operational and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation

• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items according to company standards

• Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines

• Ensure food is fresh, properly stored, and handled safely

• Assist in bread baking and ingredient preparation when required

Customer Service

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Take orders accurately and efficiently

• Provide recommendations and promote upselling opportunities

• Handle customer queries and ensure a positive dining experience

Operations Support

• Maintain speed of service and throughput, especially during peak hours

• Ensure proper preparation before lunch rush and other busy periods

• Follow daily task checklists and instructions from supervisors

Hygiene & Food Safety

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining area

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Inventory & Stock Handling

• Monitor ingredient levels and inform supervisors for replenishment

• Assist in stock rotation (FIFO) and minimize wastage

• Support inventory counts and basic stock control practices

Teamwork

• Work collaboratively with team members and support store operations

• Follow instructions from supervisors and managers

• Contribute to a positive, respectful team environment
