Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- sharpen your people management skill by leading and managing a team of technical staff to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, including HVAC, fire systems, water, electricity, and chiller plants.
- Enrich experience in frontline services via overseeing daily operations, annual inspections, testing, and maintenance of M&E systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Enhance management skill by coordinating and chairing meetings with stakeholders to discuss operational strategies, project updates, and system improvements.
- To nourish multi skills by ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards for all M&E-related projects
- Sharpen writing skill by preparing maintenance reports and coordinating emergency call out services around the clock
- To practice professional knowledge by conducting fault investigations, managing minor project executions and monitoring site work progress
- Enhance contractor management by liaising with end users, managing contractors and supervise in-house technical officers and technicians
- In-depth maintenance experience in HVAC/MVAC, Chiller Plant and Cooling Water Plant is a must to ensure you can gain the advantage as listed above.
Requirement:
- A recognised degree in Building Services/Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years of relevant Plant Maintenance experience in property management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Candidates with less experience would be considered as Assistant Technical Manager.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and meeting facilitation.
- Familiarity with statutory regulations and compliance requirements in property management.
- Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
- Must have uncompromising integrity, strong sense of responsibility and good supervisory skills
- Corporate membership of relevant professional institutions (e.g. HKIE, CIBSE, IMechE) is preferred
- 5-day work week
