Temporary Project Coordinator

<p><strong>Client:</strong> Environmental Campaign Committee</p><p><strong>Contract Period:</strong> 12 months</p><p><strong>Working Location:</strong> Wan Chai</p><p><strong>Salary: </strong>HK$22,595.00 per month</p><p><strong>Working Hours:</strong></p><p>Normally from 9:00am to 5:48pm, from Monday to Friday</p><p></p><p><strong><u>Duties</u></strong></p><p></p><p>i) To assist in implementation of environmental activities;</p><p>ii) To assist in organising publicity events and activities, such as ceremonies and visits;</p><p>iii) To liaise with ECC’s partner organisations and stakeholders groups;</p><p>iv) To coordinate with contractors for event management; and</p><p>v) To vet, process and monitor ECF applications for funding and payments.</p><p></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications Requirements</u></strong></p><p>(1) A bachelor's degree from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent;</p><p>(2) attained Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the HKDSE or (HKCEE, or equivalent;</p><p>(3) preferably with at least 1 year relevant post-qualification experience in the field of publicity, communications, public relations, funding management, administrative or environmental education;</p><p>(4) sound computer knowledge in word processing (e.g. Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (e.g. Microsoft Excel), presentation (e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint), video editing (e.g. Windows Live Movie Maker) and promotional material design (e.g. Adobe PhotoShop); and</p><p>(5) strong organisational and analytical power, with good command of English and Chinese.</p><p>Temporary Project Coordinator<br>Job Responsibilities:<br></p><ul><li>Co-ordinate and promote various environmental protection-related activities;</li><li>Assist in organizing promotional activities and projects, including ceremonies, visits, etc.;</li><li>Maintain good communication and contact with the Environmental Protection Committee's partners and stakeholders;</li><li></li><li>Review, process and monitor environmental conservation fund (ECF) applications and payment procedures.</li></ul><p><br>Requirements:<br></p><ul><li>Must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualifications from a local university in Hong Kong;</li><li>Must obtain a Level 3 or above in the Chinese and English subjects of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or the old Hong Kong Secondary School Entrance Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent qualifications;</li><li>Preference will be given to those with at least one year of relevant work experience, especially in the areas of publicity and promotion, public relations and communication, fund management, administrative affairs or environmental education;</li><li>Need to have good computer skills, familiar with word processing software (such as Microsoft Word), spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Excel), presentation creation (such as Microsoft PowerPoint), video editing (such as Windows Live Movie Maker) and promotional material design (such as Adobe Photoshop) tools;</li><li>Have excellent organizational analysis skills and be able to communicate and express yourself fluently in Chinese and English.</li></ul><p><br>Benefits:<br></p><ul><li>The contract period is 12 months;</li><li>Monthly salary is HKD 22,595;</li><li>Working location is in Wan Chai;</li><li></li></ul>
