Engineering Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of production machinery, equipment, and facilities to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce unexpected failures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production targets.
• Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available when needed.
• Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and guidance as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Other tasks which assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills in Cantonese and English. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of PLC or TPM
• Knowledge of air-conditioning and refrigeration system will be an advantage
