Video Editor

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the full production of interview-style films, including on-site shooting (using a Sony FX3 camera), lighting setup, camera position setting, and on-site audio monitoring to ensure stable and clear picture and sound quality.
Independently complete post-production editing work, accurately eliminate redundant dialogue and ineffective segments, strengthen narrative rhythm and audience attention, and improve content delivery efficiency.
Proficient in using CapCut for efficient editing, color correction, subtitle addition, audio integration, and output adaptation for multiple platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook).
Closely collaborate with marketing project executives, understand event goals and brand tone, and deliver visual content that meets strategy needs on time.
Have flexible support capabilities, be ready to respond (standby) to project needs at any time, support sudden shooting or emergency film processing; work remotely as the main mode, without the need to return to the office every day.

Work requirements

Have practical experience in filming and editing interview-style videos, familiar with the lens language of character interviews, interview rhythm control and the principle of preserving natural dialogue.
Master basic film and television technology knowledge, including lighting logic, composition and composition, environmental sound recording judgment (such as background noise interference identification and response) and FX3 camera operation process.
Master the full range of functions in CapCut, and be able to handle 4K footage, multi-track audio and video synchronization, dynamic subtitles, basic color correction, and output settings.
Have good communication and coordination skills, be proactive in clarifying marketing team needs, receiving feedback and quickly iterating and modifying, and prioritizing delivery timeliness and product quality.
Monthly salary range: Entry-level $16,000; experienced $20,000–$23,000 Hong Kong dollars.
Remote work: Full-time remote workers, monthly salary reduced by $1,000–$2,000.
