Participate in the full life cycle cost management of the project, covering value engineering recommendations in the design stage, change order evaluation during construction, mid-term payment review and final settlement;
Coordinate developers, architects, contractors and consulting teams to provide professional advice on engineering quantity calculation, unit price analysis, contract term interpretation, etc.;
Use professional software (such as CostX, Synchro or Microsoft Excel advanced modeling tools) for quantity takeoff, cost data analysis and trend prediction;
Regularly compile cost reports and risk warning documents to help management understand the project's financial situation and propose feasible cost optimization solutions.
Work requirements
Holding a recognized bachelor's degree or above in quantity surveying, construction economics, civil engineering or related sciences, and having completed the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) recognized professional evaluation (APC) or equivalent qualification;
Have at least three years of practical experience in local Hong Kong construction projects, familiar with the Building Ordinance, Contractual Conditions and common standard contracts (such as HKIA, JCT, NEC, etc.);
Proficient in Cantonese and English, able to write technical English reports, tender documents and contract correspondence fluently; Mandarin is an added bonus;
Have a high sense of responsibility, meticulous and rigorous analytical thinking, and good time management skills, and be able to maintain work quality in parallel multi-tasking and tight deadlines.
