About the role
Conners Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced IT Governance Manager (Technology Risk, Bank) to join our team. This is a full-time role based in Kwun Tong District. You will be responsible for providing strategic oversight and governance of the bank's technology risk management framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
What you'll be doing
Develop and maintain the bank's IT governance framework, policies, and standards to manage technology risks effectively
Monitor and report on the bank's technology risk profile, highlighting potential issues and recommending mitigation strategies
Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to identify, assess, and address technology risks across the organisation
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines related to technology risk management
Oversee the implementation of risk management controls and monitor their effectiveness
Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on IT governance and risk management best practices
Stay updated on emerging technology trends, threats, and regulatory developments to proactively adapt the bank's risk management approach
What we're looking for
University graduate, preferably major in Information Technology, Computer Science related subjects.
Minimum 5 years’ work experience in information technology management or IT governance, risk and compliance.
Extensive experience in technology risk management and compliance with regulations.
Sound knowledge in software development, project planning & management
Experience in managing configuration management database is definitely an advantage.
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; fluent in English is preferable; can speak in Mandarin is an advantage.
Strong negotiator with excellent communication skills.
Independent problem-solving and self-directing abilities.
Self-driven and flexible with high motivation.
Sound knowledge in MS Project / Excel / Visio / PowerPoint / MIS Reporting.
Familiar to regulatory requirements such as HKMA TM-G-1, TM-G-2, PDPO, PCI-DSS etc.
