Truck driver

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving a truck safely and on time to execute local goods delivery tasks, including warehouse pickup, point-to-point customer delivery, and round trips to the logistics center;
• Accurately verify the invoice with the actual quantity, specifications and recipient information of the goods, ensure delivery error-free and obtain effective receipt;
• Daily pre-trip vehicle inspection (such as fuel level, water level, tire pressure, lights and braking system), report any abnormalities immediately and record them in the vehicle log;
• Properly store and hand over the accompanying documents (including delivery orders, customs declaration forms, signature receipts, etc.), complete the system input and archiving according to the company's requirements within the same day or within the specified time limit;
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations team to meet temporary scheduling needs, and provide flexible support for overtime, night or weekend transportation tasks within reasonable limits.

Work requirements

• Have actual truck driving experience, familiar with the main highways, tunnels, container terminals and industrial zones in Hong Kong, and able to independently plan reasonable routes to cope with traffic conditions;
• Have basic knowledge and physical strength for goods loading and unloading, and assist in handling mid- and low-weight goods such as loading and unloading, bundling and fixing, and simple protection operations;
• Honest and reliable, strong sense of responsibility, able to strictly abide by the time commitment, have good communication skills, and be able to clearly coordinate daily work with customers, warehouse staff and supervisors;
• Willing to accept pre-employment safety training and regular occupational health guidance, and to comply with the company's driver behavior code and road safety policy.
