Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of rooms, including changing bed sheets, pillowcases, towels and floor cloths, ensuring the room is clean and hygienic and decorated to hotel standards.
Comply with the standard to replenish consumables in the room (such as bathing supplies, tea bags, coffee, mineral water, etc.), and check the operating status of the equipment (such as lighting, air conditioning, television, electric kettle, etc.).
Assist with handling guests’ post-check-in room service requests, such as adding beds, baby cribs, delivering supplies or providing a preliminary response to simple customer complaints.
Assist the room supervisor in conducting floor inspections and quality checks, record and report maintenance items, and ensure rooms are in immediate saleable condition.
Follow hotel safety and confidentiality regulations, properly store cleaning tools and keys, and strictly follow the epidemic prevention and cleaning and disinfection process.

Work requirements

One year or more of practical work experience in the housekeeping department of a four-star or higher hotel in mainland China, familiar with standardized room operations and quality requirements.
Fluent in Cantonese listening and speaking, able to communicate independently with local colleagues and guests; basic English conversational skills, able to use English for greetings, directions and simple service phrases (such as "Good morning", "How may I help you?", "Thank you").
Pay attention to details, strong sense of responsibility, and able to adapt to shifts (including early, mid, late shifts and holiday work), and efficiently complete multiple room cleaning tasks.
