Electrical Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems in the hotel, including lighting systems, distribution boxes, outlets, switches, emergency lighting, and backup power equipment;

• Execute regular inspections and calibrations according to engineering instructions or preventive maintenance plans to ensure that all electrical facilities comply with the Hong Kong Electricity Ordinance and the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department's relevant safety standards;

• Record maintenance and repair process, replacement part details and test results, and update work orders and files in the electronic engineering management system as required;

• 
  

• Support the 24-hour operation of the hotel under shift work, including handling sudden power outages, short circuits or equipment abnormalities, etc. emergency situations, ensuring that guest experience and operational safety are not affected.

Work requirements

• Holding a "Electricity Engineering Officer Registration Certificate" (A or B) issued by the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Department, with the legal qualifications to engage in electrical work;

• No specified academic qualifications, but must have basic electrical knowledge and practical skills, welcome potential newcomers or experienced technicians to apply;

• 
  

• Able to communicate fluently in Cantonese, with basic Mandarin conversational skills, and able to clearly understand written engineering instructions and safety rules;

• 
  

• Willing to accept shift arrangements (including day shifts, night shifts, and holiday rotations), with 6 days of rest per month, and flexible scheduling to meet the hotel's operational needs;
