Project Executive - Media Relation

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain strong connections with key media stakeholders, including journalists, publications, and industry influencers.

• Negotiate media partnerships, identify promotional opportunities, and drive return on investment through advertising initiatives and strategic collaborations across both B2B and B2C channels. Coordinate delegations for major trade shows.

• Design and execute media strategies tailored to target regions, industries, and audience segments.

• Draft, manage, and distribute press releases and visitor eDMs, ensuring messaging supports project objectives and overall campaign direction.

• Plan and deliver press-related activities such as briefings and conferences, while preparing comprehensive media kits and supporting materials.

• Track and assess media performance by monitoring coverage, KPIs, and campaign outcomes, providing insights for ongoing improvement.

• Contribute to international promotional efforts, including seminars, trade fairs, networking sessions, and award ceremonies.

• Handle ad hoc assignments as directed by management.

• Willingness to travel to Mainland China and overseas destinations as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in media relations, ideally within the exhibition or events industry.

• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English, with solid skills in MS Office applications.

• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently.

• Immediate availability will be considered a strong advantage.
