Painting technician

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for painting and coating various types of building surfaces in the hotel, including walls, ceilings, wooden and metal components, etc., to ensure that the construction quality meets the engineering standards and aesthetic requirements.

• According to the engineering drawings and on-site instructions, carry out the whole process of base treatment, plastering, sanding, priming and painting, and cooperate with other construction types to carry out concurrent construction.

• Regularly inspect and maintain painting tools and equipment, properly manage painting materials, control consumable use, avoid waste and safety risks.

• Participate in hotel renovation, maintenance and repair projects, and cooperate with the phased construction schedule during operation to complete low-impact operations within the designated time period.

• Follow the construction site safety rules and hotel internal management regulations, correctly wear personal protective equipment, and implement fire prevention, ventilation, and waste disposal requirements.

Work requirements

• Have 3 to 5 years of local building or hotel-related paint construction experience, familiar with high-standard interior renovation engineering processes, and those with high-end hotel or commercial property project experience are preferred.

• Proficient in the application technology and precautions of traditional oil-based paint, water-based environmentally friendly paint, metal anti-corrosion paint and special coatings (such as fire-resistant paint, anti-mold paint).

• Able to communicate fluently in Cantonese, with basic Mandarin conversational skills, and able to clearly understand written instructions, material labels, and safety notices.

• Have good team spirit and independent work ability, be able to adapt to the construction site environment in the core area of Tsim Sha Tsui, and cooperate with shift work and six days a week.

• Holds a valid Hong Kong work visa or be sponsored by the employer for a work visa, no academic qualifications are required, but you must pass a technical evaluation and entry safety training.

• Monthly salary range is HKD 22,000 to 37,000, depending on technical level, experience and performance, and annual salary review according to company policy.
