Managing Consultant - Technology focused

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned business leader to join our firm in a pivotal client-facing and solutions-design role. This position is ideal for a domain expert from the technology, e-commerce or international trade sectors who is now passionate about leveraging their operational expertise to advise other businesses on their people and organizational challenges. You will translate your hands-on experience in scaling businesses, building cross-functional teams, and regional expansion into actionable HR and talent strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Advisory: Consult with senior leadership of client companies (primarily in tech, e-commerce, and international trade) on challenges related to our talent advisory offering

• Business Transformation: Guide clients through people-related aspects of business transformation, market expansion, and mergers & acquisitions, drawing from your direct experience in scaling companies and entering new markets.

• Cross-Cultural & International HR: Advise clients on best practices for managing teams, establishing partnerships, and navigating employment landscapes across Southeast Asia markets.

• Business Development: Contribute to the growth of our core business by identifying opportunities with technology-driven companies looking for local and overseas expansion

Qualifications & Experience

Ideal Candidate will have:

• A minimum of 5 years of business development experience with proven ability to communicate with C-suite stakeholders

• Extensive knowledge and domain expertise in the technology/software/AI sectors

• Demonstrated success in strategic planning, team building from scratch, driving sales growth

• Business fluency in both English and Chinese to engage with regional clients seamlessly.

• Strategic Thinker with Operational Grit: Able to design high-level strategy while understanding the practical implications on the ground.

• Astute Business Acumen: Deep understanding of what drives business success, revenue, and profitability.

• Advisor Mindset: Excellent listener, empathetic, and skilled at building trusted relationships with C-suite executives.

• Results-Oriented: A history of achieving tangible, measurable outcomes in previous roles.

Highly Desired:

• Direct experience with AI solutions or tech-driven business transformation

• Experience working with clients across the Asia region
