Design and teach a full-English drama course for children from 3 to 12 years old, covering character creation, situational simulation, story narration, and team collaboration, etc. core elements, emphasizing the dual development of language use and artistic expression.
Coordinate and lead students in annual on-campus performances and off-campus drama competitions, including script selection and editing, stage management, emotional guidance and performance presentation, and enhance students’ confidence and stage practice skills.
Independently write a clear and concise English teaching plan, systematically integrate vocal training (such as pronunciation, intonation, rhythm), body expression (such as spatial awareness, limb control, non-verbal communication), and impromptu creation (such as situational response, role-playing impromptu dialogue), ensuring teaching is professional and age-appropriate.
Regularly communicate with parents in a two-way manner, through classroom observation records, learning reports or brief interviews, objectively reflecting students’ progress and growth highlights in language use, creativity, collaboration and self-confidence.
In line with the organization's curriculum development direction, participate in teaching and research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and LAMDA/Trinity exam preparation, support students in need to take certification exams and provide test-taking strategy guidance.
Work requirements
Holding a bachelor's degree or above in drama, performing arts or related fields; those who graduated from overseas universities are given priority.
Have TEFL, TESOL or equivalent international recognition of English teaching qualification certificate, and be able to design language immersion drama activities from an educational professional perspective.
Having at least two years of practical experience in teaching English drama to children from 3 to 12 years old, familiar with the cognitive development characteristics of different age groups and classroom management strategies.
English proficiency at native level, must submit a total score of 7.5 or equivalent (such as TOEFL iBT 110, Cambridge CPE A-level, etc.).
Applicants with teaching, evaluation or candidate counseling experience in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) or Trinity College London drama examination course will be given priority.
