Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced E‑commerce Manager to lead the full digital commerce function for the Hong Kong market and global platforms.
This role oversees a team in Hong Kong and collaborates closely with the VP in Shanghai to drive online sales growth, enhance customer experience, optimize digital marketing performance, and manage end‑to‑end e‑commerce operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, deep technical and commercial e‑commerce expertise, and experience working in luxury retail or premium consumer brands.

Key Responsibilities

1. E‑commerce Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the brand’s online store, ensuring accurate product listings, inventory integrity, pricing updates, and content consistency.

  • Ensure website functionality, UX improvements, and seamless customer journeys.

  • Work with the technical team to resolve platform issues (Magento) and manage enhancements.

  • Drive operational KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, customer retention, and revenue.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Hong Kong e‑commerce team (merchandising, operations, digital marketing).

  • Set clear performance goals, ensure high‑quality execution, and foster cross‑functional collaboration.

  • Guide team on campaign planning, data insights, and best‑practice digital operations.

3. Digital Marketing & Performance Advertising

  • Create and optimize digital marketing strategies across Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO/SEM, programmatic, and affiliate channels.

  • Partner with creative and brand teams to deliver high‑quality, luxury‑standard digital assets.

  • Oversee digital marketing budgets, forecast performance, and generate insight‑driven reports.

  • Implement A/B testing, remarketing strategies, and marketing automation.

4. Sales Growth & Revenue Optimization

  • Develop strategies to achieve online sales targets and customer acquisition goals.

  • Improve site merchandising, product storytelling, and cross‑selling opportunities.

  • Lead ecommerce P&L management for the HK market and global e‑commerce partnerships.

5. Campaigns, Launches & Events

  • Lead online components of key campaigns, seasonal launches, and promotional events.

  • Drive online‑to‑offline activation strategies to enhance brand visibility.

  • Coordinate with the Shanghai HQ to align global digital roadmaps and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in e‑commerce management, digital marketing, and online retail; luxury or premium brand experience preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Magento , Google Analytics, and ecommerce reporting tools.

  • Proven experience managing Meta Ads

  • Strong leadership experience with direct team management responsibilities.

  • Highly analytical; able to translate data into actionable strategies and performance improvements.

  • Excellent communication skills; fluency in English, Cantonese, Mandarin required.

  • Strategic thinker, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
