Operations Manager

Purpose (Objective) of the Job
* Maintain constant and effective communication with managers, staff, stakeholders and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
* Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity.
* Manage data collection and ensure operational activities are on time and within budget.
* Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed.
* Ensure the supply of samples and production planning, order placement and shipping of garments and accessories based on the needs of the company.

Main Tasks / Key Accountabilities
* Manage daily store operation related matters such as sales target, manpower planning, and any store related expenses to achieve financial targets
* Evaluate existing retail network and plan effective strategies for continued growth and expansion
* Closely work with marketing team to execute events, pop-up stores, promotion activities to enhance brand awareness and maximize sales
* Daily merchandising activities including project follow up, order management, sampling, packaging, supplier management, shipping arrangement, etc…
* To deliver online to offline omni-channel experience across the stores
* To determine marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and sales records
* Ensure the standard of visual merchandising, display, commercial image and layout on shop level are following corporate guidelines
* Establish and simplify operating procedures and guidelines
* Manage inventory (stock and material) strategy and roll out enhanced inventory systems
* Ownership of Store P&L performance, analyse sales report and provide insights on operational response and inventory management to upper management
* Lead, motivate, and support the team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports, problem resolution and towards achievement of sales target & company KPI
* Maximize profit by sales driving, budget planning and cost control
* Contribute positively to team dynamics by attracting and retaining talent, and coach junior team members and deliver excellent customer service
* Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and system
* Maintains the stability and reputation of the stores to ensure that the stores and all activities (e.g. events, pop up store…) remain legal compliance and safety
* Establish contact and communicate with Landlords and Mall Managements for business development
* To participate in Ad hoc project as required

Education
* High Diploma or above in business management / marketing or related disciplines
Working Experience
* Over 8 years of retail sales and operation management experience from fashion retail with at least 5 years at supervisory level
Language Skills
* Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Others
* Proficient in MS Office
* Hands on experience with retail management systems / ERP systems
