Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Participate in the preparation of tender documents, including technical specifications, plan and design explanations, bill of quantities, and tender instructions. Integrate and verify these documents.
Review the technical documents submitted by the contractor, such as construction drawings, samples, test reports and operation and maintenance manuals, to ensure compliance with contract requirements and relevant statutory standards.
Collaborate with senior engineers on site surveys, design coordination meetings, and cross-disciplinary technical discussions to support the implementation and optimization of design solutions.
Sort and archive the correspondence, meeting minutes and approval comments during the design process, and maintain the integrity and traceability of project files.

Work requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering or related fields, with eligibility for Associate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (AMHKIE)
Have 1 to 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical design or bid support work at consulting firms or contractors, familiar with local construction engineering processes and contract models (such as GC2010, NEC, etc.).
Proficient in using AutoCAD for drawing schematics, those with basic operational skills in Revit, Navisworks or ETAP will receive additional points.
Have good writing and communication skills in Chinese and English, be able to independently write technical documents and clearly express design intentions, and be able to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders.
Careful and responsible, with logical analysis ability and time management awareness, able to deliver high-quality results on time in a multi-task parallel environment.
