Responsible for the daily inspection, maintenance and fault diagnosis of various passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, including engine system, chassis, braking, steering, suspension, electrical and air conditioning subsystems;
Follow the manufacturer's technical manual and safety specifications for disassembly, calibration, testing and replacement operations to ensure repair quality meets the original factory standards;
Use professional testing equipment (such as decoders, oscilloscopes, four-wheel alignment instruments, brake testing platforms, etc.) for precise judgment and data analysis;
Fill out a complete repair order and technical record, clearly indicating the cause of the failure, the method of treatment, the replacement of parts and labor hours, and cooperate with internal quality audits;
Assist in vehicle reception, initial inspection and communication with customers on simple technical issues, and participate in emergency repairs or special task support under the guidance of a supervisor.
Work requirements
Hold a recognized automotive repair-related qualification certificate (such as the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Services Department's "Automotive Mechanical Repair Technician" qualification, or an equivalent overseas certificate such as ASE, City & Guilds, BTEC, etc.), and have passed the local professional qualification review;
Have at least three years of practical repair experience, familiar with the mainstream Japanese, European and domestic car models' structures and common fault modes;
Able to independently operate common hand tools, electric tools and precision measuring instruments, with basic welding, sheet metal assistance and seal replacement skills;
Have good Chinese (Cantonese) listening and speaking skills, be able to understand technical documents and work instructions, and have basic English reading and writing abilities;
