Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

ꔷ Developing and Implementing Compliance Programs: Creating and maintaining AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls tailored to the MSO's specific business model, including digital asset operations if applicable.

ꔷ Risk Assessment and Monitoring: Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and ensuring ongoing monitoring of business activities, including customer due diligence and transaction monitoring.

ꔷ Reporting and Liaison: Reporting suspicious transactions to senior management and relevant authorities, such as the Joint Financial Intelligence Unit (JFIU) and Hong Kong Customs.

ꔷ Training and Awareness: Providing compliance training to staff on AML/CFT obligations, regulatory updates, and best practices.

ꔷ Regulatory Compliance: Staying up-to-date on regulatory developments in Hong Kong and ensuring the company's operations align with the latest requirements and guidelines.

ꔷ Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping of all compliance-related activities, including transaction records and reports.

ꔷ Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Essential Skills and Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of AML/CFT regulations in Hong Kong, including the relevant legislation and guidelines.Strong understanding of the MSO business model and its associated risks.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing compliance programs.Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• At least 2 years working experience
